Making Eggs

The kids and I had a blast making eggs this year. They are really starting to get into stuff like this and appreciate it. I love how having young kids gives me an excuse to do this kind of stuff. It is so much fun to see their excitement and watch them be creative. Here are a few fun pics!

Petty Family Egg Hunt

We had a very fun Easter Egg Hunt and lunch with the Petty family on April 4th. The weather was absolutely beautiful, and the kids had a great time. Ansley really got into hunting the eggs. This was the first egg hunt where she was really getting the idea. Ty racked up as well. They had a short candy free-for-all after the hunt. It is the highlight of the year for Ty I am pretty sure! What fun memories for the kiddos. This is becoming a yearly tradition I think!

My Little Sunshine

Right before we left the house.
"Hiding behind the trees...."
"Cheese!"
Daddy got to come!
Can't you tell how much he loves me? :)
Ansley had to try on the sunshine!
Ty had his preschool program at church on April 2nd. It was soooo cute! The kids in his class sang "Mr. Sun" and "God's Promise". The theme of the program was "God Keeps His Promises". It was centered around the story of Noah and the Ark. The kids were adorable. I was so proud of Ty. He sang and did the hand motions. He did such a great job. It always makes me want to cry when he does stuff like this because it makes me realize how big he is getting and how fast he is growing, but it also makes me so happy to see him grow and learn. He is a precious gift! I look forward to many more of these types of things with he and Ansley!

Preschool Easter Egg Hunt and Party

Here are a few pics from Ty's Easter egg hunt and party at Preschool. He had a blast. He found tons of eggs, but thankfully didn't notice when they divided them evenly among the kids while they were eating! Ansley had a hard time watching the egg hunt and not participating, but then she got party snacks. It was a fun time. Ty is always up for a sugar cookie!

Still Here

Okay, if i still have any readers after my blog laziness, here is a quick update! I am posting some pictures that I intended to post a month ago! My sweet NaNa sent the kids a box in the mail with lots of fun Valentine's gifts. I snapped a few pictures of them playing with the toys. They were so excited to get mail and loved the toys and suckers! They also got some great Valentines from mine and Brian's parents but I lacked on my documenting skills this Valentine's Day and didn't take pics. I will post some pics of our Disney World trip soon. It is just an overwhelming task because I took so many pictures! How will I choose which ones to post?! Stay tuned. I will try to do it later this week!

Pigtails, Pancakes and Pajamas

We had a fun morning at church Saturday called pancakes and pajamas. The preschoolers came dressed in pajamas and had pancakes and made Valentine's Day crafts. It was so cute and fun. Brian obviously wore my robe, as you will see below! We had a great family day. After this we went to the park and Chick-fil-A. Then that night we all watched Horton Hears a Who together. The kids actually watched the whole movie with us, which has never happened. It was a great Saturday. I also put some pictures on here of Ansley's pigtails I did the other day. She looked like such a cutie. If I can get her to be still enough I will be doing this more often. The picture of Ty is just a cute bonus!

Friday we had a fun day at home. These days we are rarely at home all day on a weekday so the kids and I just enjoyed hanging out together. We made Valentine's cookies after lunch. The kids had a blast and really enjoyed eating the cookies after making them! I ate one and decided my sugar cookie days are over after feeling nauseated for 30 minutes post-consumption! Here are some pics.
