Happy Birthday Noah and Micah!

I'm so ashamed that I haven't posted in so long! A couple of weeks ago we went to Tuscaloosa to celebrate Micah's 3rd and Noah's 8th birthdays. We had a great time. The Dixons know how to throw a party! We had a cookout, cake, ice cream and extreme slip n slide! It was a blast. So fun watching my parents do the ginormous slip n slide. Ty and Ansley loved it. Ansley wanted to go down alone, but I could not allow it! We had a great weekend hanging out with family and luckily found gas on the way home! Ike hit while we were there so gas was scarce. Here are some pictures from the festivities.

Ty's First Day of Preschool!

All ready for school!

Ty and Mommy before we parted!

Headed home after a fun day.

Today was Ty's first day of Preschool at church! He looked so big carrying his lunchbox. He was a little apprehensive, but I think he had a good time. He said his teachers were nice, and he was very happy that he got to eat goldfish for snack. He also said he learned about Jesus today so that is always good! I was very proud of myself for not crying as I left him. I was nervous this morning, but all in all I think Mommy did okay too. I got to spend some one on one time with Ansley and get a lot done while she was napping. I think this will be a good thing for all of us! We'll see if he wants to go back on Thursday or not!

Happy Birthday Grandy!

Last night we had dinner over here to celebrate Grandy's birthday. We had a great time. The kids always love having Nana and Grandy here. They were happy to see uncle John too! We missed the Dixons this year, but look forward to seeing them very soon. Happy Birthday Grandy! Hope you had a great time!

A Day Out with Thomas

Last Saturday Brian and Ty went to see Thomas the Tank Engine with Jan and Ryan, Kendria and Malcolm, and Shawn and Jack. They got to ride on a train for about 25 minutes and they got to do some other fun stuff. It was a bit of a money trap, but fun for the kids all the same! Here are some photos!
