Today I just want to share this writing by Beth Moore. God has given her a wonderful gift.
The River of Mercy
There is a river of mercy
Just beyond the pride
Down the street from secrecy
Around the bend from lies.
No signs that say "No Trespassing"
No need to sneak in fear
Turn right beyond the marker saying
"Bring your trespass here."
The waters there are brisk and clear;
The bank is never steep.
Quick waters smooth the pebbles clean
So enter with bare feet.
I'll meet you in that river
If you'll come with no disguise.
Bring me to your honesty
And let the waters rise.
They'll cover every guilty stain
And rinse away each sin.
Splash in refreshment, Child,
Go ahead! Dive in!
There is a river of mercy
Come and freely swim
My son is waiting at the gate
And He'll escort you in.

Fun at the Park!
Today was another fun day! We went to the park with aunt Jenny and cousins Noah and Micah. We've enjoyed getting to spend more time with them lately. We had a great time. What a beautiful day!!! Above is a picture of the momentus event of Ty's first time in a swing. He loved it! He laughed and laughed. There is also a picture of all 3 boys together. They are quite a crew! We hope to have many more park trips in the future. Another first for today was Ty figuring out how to eat solids (gerber fruit puffs) by himself. Everyday is a new adventure with new discoveries. Sometimes I wish I could see the world through his eyes.
We have a really busy schedule this week so we skipped church tonight and spent some quality family time together. It was a lot of fun and much needed. Brian's birthday is coming up on Friday so we thought we would just go ahead and start the celebration. What a wonderful day full of blessings!

I'm a Blogger!!!
Well, here I am joining the world of the bloggers. My older sister started blogging. Since I so enjoy reading hers, I decided I would do one also. I guess in a way I am reverting back to childhood when I wanted to do whatever big sister did! The name comes from her as well. I named her blog (Just Jenny from the Blog), and she has returned the favor for me. The name is supposed to be funny because my siblings always call me the "princess" of the family. I can't imagine why. You will have to ask them! I almost didn't use the name because I was afraid people would misunderstand and think that I indeed do view myself as a princess. Then I realized that I am. The bible study I have been doing points to the fact that we are daughters of the King, making us princesses. So the name has a double meaning. I hope that long expanation was worthwhile. My future posts will be updates on what is happening with our family as well as random thoughts or things I want to share with you all. As many of you know, since I had Ty I have gotten increasingly worse at keeping up with everyone I love on a regular basis. Hopefully this will help. Please comment often so I can hear from you too! The picture is one of Ty on our recent beach trip. There will be many more pictures to come I am sure! God bless you today!
