How Can I Keep From Singing by Chris Tomlin

"How Can I Keep From Singing"
There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling
How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing
I will lift my eyes
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior lives
And I will walk with You
Knowing You'll see me through
And sing the songs You give
How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing
I can sing in the troubled times
Sing when I win
I can sing when I lose my step
And fall down again
I can sing 'cause You pick me up
Sing 'cause You're there
I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord
When I call to You in prayer
I can sing with my last breath
Sing for I know
That I'll sing with the angels
And the saints around the throne

4th of July Fireworks

On the 4th we watched the Nashville fireworks from the comfort of the Baptist hospital parking garage. It was pouring rain at times so the shelter was nice! Then we headed over to Dairy Queen with some friends. Good times!

Bicentennial Mall and Going Away Party

On July 3rd we had a fun family day. We took the kids and went to the Farmer's Market downtown. We at lunch there and then took the kids to play in the fountains at the Bicentennial Mall. They had a blast. This was the first time they had ever been there. After that we bought some produce and had some yummy snowcones inside. We had so much fun! Then that night we went to our friends the Akins house for a little going away party for our friends Marc and April Moore. They are moving to Bowling Green this week. We are so sad to see them go, but we are excited for them. At least Bowling Green isn't too far! We had lots of fun at the party, and enjoyed spending time with friends. We even took the kids, and they actually did pretty well. It was just a great day all together!

Brian's Birthday Dinner

The weekend before Brian's birthday I surprised him by getting his family all together to eat dinner for his birthday at Sperry's. He has been wanting to go there for years, and we had never been. He seemed disappointed when I told him it was just the two of us going out! I'm glad I had a plan! :) We had a great time. He is now 32 years old!

Well

Well, our third child went to be with Jesus last week. We were very surprised and heartbroken. However, we have peace in knowing that God is in control and our child has already made it to Heaven. I have been amazed how many people have been through this horrible experience of miscarriage. It is truly painful in so many ways. It has taken a conscious decision to choose to rejoice through this and focus on the positive things in our lives. We will always love that little baby and wonder what it would have been like, but we will not let Satan use this loss against us. Please continue to pray for us as we deal with this loss. We love our family and friends so much!

For Real Though

Well, let's go ahead and make it official on my blog! We are expecting baby number 3 around March 3rd of 2010! We are very excited about this new little life and can't wait to meet him or her. The kids are excited, but a little confused as to why they can't see the baby yet. Ty is insisting that he wants twins! We'll see, but I suspect that there's only one in there. If you are ever curious about how far along we are you can check out the ticker on the side of my blog! We'll keep everyone updated as things progress! Praise God for this little blessing!
