10 Year Reunion

Last weekend I had my 10 year reunion. We had a cookout at the park for lunch with families and then we had dinner at the Boundry Saturday night. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed seeing everyone. Brian had a great time too. Thanks to Brian's parents for keeping the kids on our late night out!

VBS 2009

Last week we had VBS at church. The theme was "Peter, Peter, Powerful Preacher". We had a great time. There were over 400 kids there! This was Ansley's first year and she really loved it. Ty loved it too. He was sad to see it end. I enjoyed it, but wasn't too sad to see it end. Afterall, kids start to get cranky after being kept up that late for 4 nights! We are really just now getting over it, but it was so worth it. I got to work on the elementary school floor this year and really enjoyed being around older kids. I'm so thankful that we are part of a church that puts so much emphasis on teaching kids about Jesus. We have AMAZING children's ministers who pull this off every year with a lot of volunteers. The Birthday Girl!

Last Saturday the kids and I attended 2 birthday parties. The first was for our friend Wrigley from church who was turning 3. They had a pancake party in the front yard that was a blast. There was even a big donut cake! Then we went to Callie's first birthday party. Callie's big sister Taylor is one of Ty's "best friends" as he likes to say. They had a great party in the yard with a fun water table that the kids loved. Sara made some amazing cakes too! We had lots of fun, and I got some cute pics that I wanted to post. Oh, and that night we had family pictures in the park. Stay posted in the next couple of weeks for those!
