Muffins, Basketball, Cousins and More!!!

Well, I haven't posted in a while so there is much to say. The kids are so much fun right now. Next week Ty will be 2 and a half and Ansley will turn 1!!! Time flies these days. Ansley is so funny. She is walking everywhere and starting to talk some. This girl wants to waste no time growing up. She is almost done with the bottle, and will be moving to her big girl carseat next week. It's so hard to believe that she is so big already. I decided this week that she is going to be a basketball player. She got to take a bath alone the other night (a rare priviledge at our house!) and from the moment she got in to the moment she got out she put the ball in the goal continuously as you will see in the pictures. She did this for about 15 minutes. Then I got her out of the tub wrapped her in a towel and held her in front of the mirror. Ball still in hand she palmed it,lifted her hand up over her head, and said "baw" (that's ball for a baby OK). It was so cute. Then she died laughing. She loves her stuffed animals and blankets. She always wants to cuddle something, but she does it while she is on the move. This girl eats way more than her big brother and is still so tiny. I think she burns it off during the day. She is so happy to be walking. We're looking forward to celebrating her birthday next week. She will love the attention I'm sure!

Ty is talking a lot now. He has become a parrot repeating everything we say including "crap" and "gosh" in the past week. Hey, it could be worse! We are having to learn to be very careful what we say around this little sponge. He constantly surprises me with things he remembers and comes up with. He loves music and is starting to sing along with lots of songs. He still loves to look at books. He will stand in his room at his chair and look at books for 20 minutes. He says "ooer" (over) at the end of each page and at the end of the book he says more loudly "The End" and then throws it in the floor and starts of the next one. It cracks me up. He is very into "Ty do it." right now wanting to be independent but he still wants to be held a lot. He frequently reaches up and says "Hold you" or "Take Mommy". How can you resist that? We're still working on the potty training. I tried hard core and it failed miserably. Oh well, there's plenty of time for that. Oh, and don't get the image that I have the perfect 2 year old who sings songs and looks at books all day. He is getting into everything and constantly in trouble for physically harming his sister. This morning he sprayed clorox anywhere spray in his face and tried to drink my body splash all in about one minute! He keeps me on my toes for sure. Oh, the picture of him with the chocolate face is when I made chocolate chip muffins the other day. He loves muffins and calls them "muccas". The other pics are from some fun times with the Dixon boys this week. We got to play with them a couple of days, and Noah got to spend the night one night. Ty was sooooo excited to have Noah here overnight. Noah is his hero I think. They are kindred spirits in good and bad ways, and Jenny and I have the stories to prove it! The picture of Ty and Micah on the car was funny. They kept fighting over it and finally decided they would just share it. They sooo did not fit, but squeezed on there in total discomfort to ride it together. Ok, so there's the update. If you are still reading I know you truly love me:).

Are you serious/!??! You really think it was with Emily at Centennial?!?!? That's crazy! I guess there aren't many Lamaze classes offered in Nashville. There were just 2 other choices at the time and this was the one that worked out the best for us. We cracked up at Emily the entire time! She is so interesting!! Oh, by the way, thank you soooo much for being willing to let us use your monitor for a while! I've been sitting on the couch for hours with all these pamphlets, etc. all around me that we've been collecting at different places and getting in the mail for a year and it's all so overwhelming! I'm being reminded of all this stuff we have left to get, and a monitor is one of the things. If you would remember to bring it soon to church, that would be great cuz it'll probably take me a while to figure out how to use the thang!! :) hee hee!! Luv ya!
